Confirmation certificate is mandatory.

These marriages are performed in churches. These marriages require another letter from the Parish priest which explains the acknowledgement of the wedding and says the couple can be married in Goa. A legal document saying that the groom is not legally bound by any other contract of marriage or civil agreement of that nature is also necessary.
Protestant Weddings
Protestants or believers are present in Goa. Protestant priests are also available to solemnize such marriages. A certificate claiming that the two are single and can be married is needed. It is imperative for church weddings. If the couple agrees to get marries at a neutral wedding venue, the priest can agreed to the request. Protestants and believers can get married on the beach.
