Hope In God During Difficult Times

As Christian's we are not promised that life will be easy, but God has promised us He will never leave us. People commonly believe the saying "God will not give you more than you can handle" is in the bible, but it is not from the bible. It is believed to be from the verse in I Corinthians 10:13. This verse is about withstanding temptation, not hardship in life, but there are verses that do give you strength and hope.

Trials and Hardships:

Trials and hardships happen for various reasons, sometimes we will never understand the reason. They can make us stronger, bring us closer to God, and we can use them to help others going through the same thing that we have been through. Being a Christian doesn't make us immune to struggles, but turning to God will help us get through these struggles when we are facing them. We need to trust God. Some verses that can help are: Romans 5:3, I Peter 1:6, Romans 12:12.

Strength:

God will give us the strength to get through difficult times. The more time we spend with Him the more we will feel His strength and His comfort. We can turn to His word and find many places where he tells us He's here for us. These are some verses that can be helpful: Deuteronomy 20:4, Deuteronomy 31:8, Psalm 23:4, Matthew 11:28, Philippians 4:13.

Hope:

God also gives up hope. We need to hold on to the faith and hope that He is with us. He never leaves us. Even when we feel alone, it is important to remember we are not. He tells us He is always with us and that He will never abandon us. Romans 15:13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. When you're struggling and feeling down, opening your bible and reading His words of comfort can help get you through difficult times. Trust and have faith in Him that He will give you the strength to get through. God say's there will always be faith, hope and love, and that love is the greatest of all. God loves us, everything he does for us is because He loves us.
