A saddle is actually not just an accessory of horse but it is the cover which use to be in contact with horse back so it must be cleaned properly because your horses sweat use to cause it so dirty in reality. If you will leave it as dirty as it is, you will not only harm the saddle, money invested on it but can also cause your horse harm and various infectious diseases.

Saddle firstly use to be made up of hard material and gives good balancing cum cushioning effect to rider but apart from it, it is also a hard fact that saddle use to be on back of horse and so comes in contact with so many sweating of horse and causes so many dirt. 1.You should clean your horse saddle with care as if it will be washed roughly it can be rough and can cause your horse back scratched too. You should use sponge for such purpose.

2.At time of washing saddles, you should care in choosing soaps and shampoos too. If possible try to prefer only mild shampoo or saddle soaps. In market especially soaps and shampoos are available for cleaning horses and horse saddle.

3.At time of washing try to wash every hole and corner area of saddle because generally such portions use to be much dirty.

4.After washing let it dry fully because improperly dried leather can cause damaged and torn easily. Improperly dried saddles can also cause your horse ill and infectious disease.

By cleaning your horse in proper way you can get firstly the well cleaned horse company and secondly a healthy horse. Generally people use to wash their horse as well as saddles by own but if you have not such time free to do that you can hire services of a servant specially for this purpose. But in all way; whether you clean yourself saddles and horse or take services of your servant to do such, above mentioned points must be taken care of as these are the basic rules which must be followed for proper cleaning.
