Host A Banner Party With A Fun Homemade Banner

. Every party needs a banner to greet and welcome guests to the celebration. Banners can feature a message as simple as "Happy Birthday" or something as clever as "Another year, another cake." Homemade banners are not only fun to make but very simple to do.

Clip-Art Banners

Clip-Art party banners are time aver banners because all that requires is the printing of the clip-art images and the stringing of the images together. Punch holes in the corners of the clip-art images and place ribbon through the holes and tie securely. Another option is to fold down the top of the clip-art images about inch from the top and tape down on a piece of long string and hang. Balloon Banners Balloon banners are simple to create and fit in perfectly at any type of party. Create the balloons banners by grouping 4-5 balloons together. Poke a small hole in the tails of the balloons using a needle and thread. Thread the balloons together and tie off. Group as many balloons as needed to fill up the banner. Tinsel banners can be made using tinsel wrapped several times and hung. Create a text or number tinsel banner by cutting out the desired text or numbers and gluing the tinsel on the paper. Tape the back of the text or numbers to a long piece of string and hang. This is a easy way to give any banner a shimmer and shine. Pennant Banners Pennant Banners are used as markers at many types of parties, yard, and garage sales, letting people know that they have arrived at the right place. Create a custom pennant banner by cutting out triangle shapes from fabric. Fold the edges over and sew shut allowing a small opening to string the rope through the hole. Glue or stitch letting on the pennant. For those who prefer something even easier, cut out card stock, fold the edges over, and tape the pennants down on the string and hang. Add the desire lettering or images by gluing them on the pennant.
