My fascination with the exquisite beauty of the reefs made this a prefect spot. Hotel 626 Phone Call I was not disappointed to find it all true. You can get there through a village named, Kelantanese of Kuala Besut. The word Perhentian means a port; Kecil means small and Besar means large. The large port/Perhentian Besar is separated from the small port/Perhentian Kecil by a narrow strait with a very strong current. In the olden days, these ports used to fall along the trade route of the fishermen and traders from Saim. The atmosphere in the islands are set by their history. There are not villages on the smaller Islands. They are where the resorts and cottages are located. The beaches on all these Islands have fine pristine sand and on the Island Perhentian Besar, is the best sand of all. Along the south east edge of the coast are the famous Islands of Pasir Panjang, Teluk Pauh, and Teluk Dalam. The little chalets are made out of the wood and sit on stilts. They are very comfortable, basic but clean and well kept. You will not miss the toilets at home, too. Each room has a queen-sized bed. The bed and bathroom linen is changed every day. They are washed and dried in the sun these linen carry in the fresh, clean and crisp sunshine indoors. The beds are canopied with a mosquito net; there is a dressing table, cupboard, and a wall fan. Eat out in a great environment with relaxes atmospheres tailored by nature. The food is wonderful and the cost are affordable. Spending time outside is why people visit Pulau Perhentian Hotel. The Islands are Eco-conscious and turn on the electricity at seven at night and off at seven in the morning. This is a great way to give back to the planet without giving more carbon imprints instead.
