You wouldn't choose to stay in a rundown hostel in a rough part of the city if there was a more welcoming hotel nearby unless you were in mighty dire straits.

Your choice can also be influenced by what quality you're looking for and the standard of customer service you desire. It is true that the more you pay, the better service you are more likely to receive. It is because of this service that people choose hotels. The decision now is which hotel to choose.
