How About Some Free Leads

Have you wondered why you're having no success

, slow success, or you may be just getting started with your MLM business? You've completed your company's training. You're pumped up and ready to make money. Your first free leads are your family, friends, associates, and/or coworkers. Also known as your Warm Market. Ok, you need to convert these free leads into prospects, and convert your prospects into your down line. If you're lucky, you can get your family to take a look at your presentation. In my case, it was just another business I was trying to do, when it came to my family. I love you, but I'm interested. Those first few free leads eliminated. You move on to your friends. Sometimes your friends are even more skeptical than your family. I've heard about that type of business, it's a pyramid scheme, I'm not interested. Now to the last your free leads. Your associates, and/or coworkers. You pique their interest and get them to commit to attending a home or hotel presentation. The day of the event, you receive your first few phone calls, hey, I'm sorry I can't make it. You get to the event. You get there early, to make sure you're there to greet them. It gets close to the time for the presentation to begin, no one's there yet. You call them, no answer. You feel you just wasted your time and gas, and couldn't even get a courtesy call saying I couldn't make it, for whatever reason. There go the rest of your free leads. Welcome to the MLM business. This can be one of the most discouraging things that can happen when you're just getting started in a MLM business. If your mind isn't right, this could make you quit, before you've really gotten started. You have no more free leads and have exhausted your warm market. WHAT DO YOU DO NEXT?

In order for your business to grow, you need a down line. You need new leads, those leads to convert to prospects, and those prospects to join your down line. You could do what many network marketers are taught, the 3 foot rule. Anyone who comes within 3 feet of you, they are a prospect. Or, you have to go through the numbers. The more people you come in contact with, the better your chance of meeting that leader who will explode your down line. Or, you can go online and purchase leads from mailing lists. I've had success from all of these, except the leads from mailing lists. All of these are also considered your Cold Market. The problem these days are, some don't have the time to exponentially grow their business because they're too busy trying to survive. And those who have the time, are either getting wrong information on how to build your business, what seminars attend, what books to read, or you have an upline who was more concerned about bringing you into the business, than helping you become successful with your business. Don't get me wrong, every business has its pros and cons. I've done several businesses. And I am what you would consider to be a hustler. I didn't actually know I wanted to be an entrepreneur until my 30's. But, when I look back to high school, I was pushing candy bars and snacks in school, to make money, because my family grew up poor, and my mother couldn't afford to give us an allowance. And, I started out working on an ice cream truck at 12 years old during the summer. At a later age, getting up at 12 midnight, to meet with a friend who taught me how to buy and sell antiques. All before I realized I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Multi-level marketing has been the best business I have ever been involved in. A low cost to get started, low overhead, the opportunity to meet many types of people, I otherwise wouldn't have met with a traditional business. Also, the opportunity to meet and work multi-millionaires, who have been successful, and willing to show me how to be successful. At the same time, building residual income versus linear income.
