How Bad Is Piracy?

It is true that anti social activities always run and keep pace with development and goodness in the world

. With each and every development in technology, of any sector, some other method arises to cope with it and discover some loop hole in it. Some people believe that this is necessary as it keeps a balance in the developing world and its future.

If we somehow reach the brink of development, with no critics to criticize it or break it, we might consider it as end to everything. Similarly, the concept of piracy has also been in the world ever since the software has taken the leading edge. It simply refers to stealing of the originality from the rightful owners and the inventors without rewarding them for their hard work. Here are some facts about piracy:

a)In many countries, the piracy has literally crippled the financial system with the stealing phenomenon being far more sophisticated than the original stuff. Any releases being made in terms of software have some mistakes that are quickly identified by the hackers and the information is leaked out at the earliest. This has resulted huge loss for firms that believe that people do not agree to pay for things that are readily available online without pay.

b)The common man always looks to get things for free, that serves as catalyst for the piracy. There are billions of customers for pirated products who are ready to user the software without paying anything for it. Here in these cases, the sustainability of the companies is put to stake as without customers these firms might have to close their business.

c)Studies have shown that the Asian market is the hub for piracy with many customers eagerly waiting for pirated version of the software rather than the original version.

d)It is true that pirated products are attractive, needs no license and provides us with endless service of products that would have shelled out thousands from our wallets.

e)There are many reasons that brings in piracy to spread. Some of them include:

I)Alleviated rates of the original software. The real and original software are quite costly that makes it impossible for difficult for normal people to buy.

II)One can hardly find any difference between the original product and pirated version.

III)The amount of convenience in finding a pirated version for any software is quite easy and appreciable. One can easily find any pirated version of this CD and can use it without even bringing into the licence.

IV)With the easy accessibility to the internet, the piracy has reached to new heights. People are now able to access the internet and download the software for free at any moment. What advantage does it make for someone.

Keeping in mind all these advantages, we can stop privacy provided that we take the initiative. There are of course many ways, but the key lies if we start avoiding such pirated sites.
