There is a bad world outside your house. There is a chance you haven't come across it. However when you confront it, you should be on your toes at all cost. Even on the net, there are few ways in which you may be tormented beyond repair. Much harm is done before it can be somewhat repaired. Effects of Cyber bullying are that far reaching.

Cyber bullies shadow you on every front. Your natural tendencies will be shown in poor light. Your friends will be rendered untrustworthy and thoroughly mediocre. Your parents will be made an enemy of your wishes. If you are a voracious reader, you will be conveyed that you are wasting your time. Your confidence will be so shattered that you become instantly withdrawn. Your smile will vanish and moreover, you will hate getting offline.

Avoid elementary mistakes. It all starts from a simple fact that in frenzy, you dissipated all your information; your address, general nature, mobile number, circle of friends, financial position and all other info to strangers either while chatting or through mails. These little ingredients are used to make a preparation against you. Several guidance mails later on become too intimidating that you will fear for your life when negating these advises. Thus it is best if you don't perform these mistakes. Facebook and MySpace are for common knowledge of whereabouts and conditions of your friends, don't stretch that limit.

If you are getting constantly abusive mails or threats, lose no time in reporting to law enforcement. Ever trust your parents and relate every detail with them. You may even need psychiatric help if you are indeed a victim of Cyber bullying. You should not keep your webcam open while chatting to strangers. And never post full profile photos of you or your friend's online. These can easily be morphed and presented in vulgar form.

Help the law. Cyber bullying campaigns are being run periodically to help you in a crisis. Many cases are being solved using Cyber knowledge and cyber bullies are nothing if not criminals. Thus if you come in contact with them, place their knowledge to the law. Don't be secretive with them, or you will not cherish the ride you take.

You should understand that there are some great things available on the net as well; not only sexual contents. Avoid checking out YouTube at all times, and definitely not for the wrong reasons. Overall, have that much control over your mind that it cannot be influenced by every Peeping Tom. Do not encourage Cyber bullying even if your dear friend practices it.
