When I was in your situation I found myself constantly calling my ex, pleading and begging to get back together. Needless to say it didn't do any good. My ex kept going further away from me, and it seemed like nothing I did helped.

This is when I stumbled across the "no contact" rule. This proved to be the best and useful thing ever read about getting your ex back.

This rule is pretty simple, and it implies exactly what it says: you should not contact your ex anymore after a break up. If you want to, you can send a text saying that you agree with the break up and thank them for the time you shared together. Then make yourself unreachable.

This is what I did, and it helped a lot. First of all, I soon realized that I was giving my ex some space and making my ex miss me. Also, the text I send proved to be a wise decision because it showed my ex that I was a mature person that can handle a breakup.

Needless to say, after some time of no contact, my ex began calling me, wanting to know what I was up to during this time. Eventually, my ex asked me out on a date, and that is when all things started going all better again.

So what did I do during the no contact time? I worked on myself, trying to find out the reasons our relationship failed, and I fixed the issues I had.
