Each of us loves Disneyland but the ones that are the biggest fans are the kids
. This is quite normal if you come to think about it: all of their favorite characters are there. But there are some things that we should tell our kids before taking them on this fun vacation.
All of our kids like to watch cartoons, play with Disney toys and figurines so it is normal that they will get excited at the prospect of visiting their favorite characters. But despite all this, most kids have strange reactions when they actually get to meet Snow White and Mickey.
So we should prepare our kids as good as we possibly can for this encounter. But this is understandable if you come to think about it. On TV all these characters are small but when the kids sees a Mickey Mouse staring down at him, it is clear that he/she is going to start feeling frightened. This is why we should explain to the little ones that all the cartoon characters are a lot like them and they do grow up just like any other kid. You could even show them some pictures and explain that the characters are grownups now, just like mummy and daddy.
Another thing that you should do is to rent a video or maybe find out some information about the rides and the games at Disney. It is important to plan everything carefully and to know where exactly you will take your kid. You wouldn't want him to begin crying just because he /she can't go on some ride. Pick the right rides according to age also. If you feel that some rides are just too scary for your kid then you can just pass them by. Having your kid screaming his lungs out is not something that you want.
Each child loves cartoons and Disneyland this is why the parents who have the possibility should program such a vacation. Your kid will surely have a great time and you probably will also. We all have a child in us, so let it come out and enjoy the rides.
