They are the cut, the clarity, the color, and the carat.

The other one is the clarity. The clarity basically means that the less imperfections the diamond has, the more value it has.

The third C is the color. The more white it is, the more value it has; the more yellow it is, the less value it has. By the way, do not buy a diamond that has been treated. They will use some kind of gimmick like irradiation to make the diamond look a certain way - don't do that because it makes it so the diamond has less value.

The fourth thing is the carat; it's basically means the weight of the diamond. Now, you want to make sure that you don't get scammed with the "carat scam".

Let's say you're looking at a ring, something like a 3 carats ring and you go oh, a diamond of 3 carats?

That's really, really good!
