a) First and what I consider to be the most important quality/skill, is to believe in yourself (self belief). To genuinely believe in yourself that you will succeed is a must have quality, otherwise there is no point to start. Combine self-belief with self determination, then you have the two top qualities which will help you to push yourself beyond the limit, and achieve greater success in affiliate marketing.
b) You must be a good student who is willing to be trained and learn new skills. You are getting involved in unfamiliar territory if you have never been involved with online business, this can be very intimidating at times, therefore, learning and developing new skills will help you a long way to succeed in affiliate marketing. New tricks, tactics, skills and experience will prepare you to know the business and will give you the expertise to be successful.
c) The third quality you must have is, be prepared to put in efforts and time if the results are not forth coming. It might take several months before you see any profits, but if you hold on and put your focus and energy in the industry, eventually your patience and persistence will give you the results you deserve. Perseverance might be the difference between success and failure.
d) You must be disciplined. If you read about successful people in any trade, discipline is one of the major factors that contributes to their success. To be able to follow a routine every day without someone telling you what to do, mean that you are a master of your own destiny.
e) You must be optimistic. Optimism is a great asset to have because it will prepare you to pursue great success in affiliate marketing even when things are going tough. Always follow your dream, avoid company with negative attitudes and lack of ambition. You alone are the only person who can make it happen for yourself. Success in business like affiliate marketing will entirely depend on what is inside you(mental capability). You possess the capability and skills to become what you want to be, if there is desire inside you which will drive you to achieve greater heights, then that will be the fuel which will keep the engine inside you running.
If you have the right attitude, affiliate marketing will be the right vehicle to lead you to achieve success and enjoy life.
