The e-liquid is available in many flavours like menthol, vanilla, cherry or tobacco, so that users can personalise their smoking experience. Electronic cigarettes take personalising to another level as you have the freedom to choose the level of nicotine. You can opt for high, medium, low and zero concentrations of nicotine. There are e cigs that allow you to reload refillable cartridges after theyve been used, while there are the ones which need the used cartridges to be replaced.

The filament is a tightly coiled, high-resistance wire that gets heated up instantly and vaporises the electronic liquid on the wick. The wick is made of metal and it touches the e-liquid inside the cartridge and allows a small amount of nicotine solution to flow down to the filament, where the coil vaporises the liquid and that vapour is sucked back through the electronic cigarette. The cycle of wick sucking in the e liquid and the filament vaporising it continues till there is no electronic liquid left in the cartridge.
