You and your ex girlfriend may not be dating right now, but that does not mean that you won't be in the future. If you can just find a way to convince your ex girlfriend to take you back, you know that you would have a shot at making everything right with her again. And if you can do that, then there would be no reason for you to feel like your heart is reeling.

So, how do you convince your ex girlfriend to take you back?

Here are 3 tips that should provide some insight as to what you are going to have to do:

1) One of the worst approaches that you can take is to try and make her change her mind.

Realistically speaking, if you put all of your time and energy in trying to make another person do what you want to do, you are going to be left disappointed and worse off for wear just about every time. On the other hand, if you recognize that this is not the approach that you should take, you are going to be better off than most guys are when they are trying to get back with an ex girlfriend. You do want your ex girlfriend to change her mind, but trying to "make" her do that is not going to be the right way to go.

2) To change her mind, you are going to have to give her a reason why you are the one.

When I say that you need to give her a reason why you are the one guy that she should be with, I don't mean that you should try to win her back by declaring that you are the only guy out there who will care about her or anything like that. Words are going to be kind of meaningless to her at this point. What your ex girlfriend is going to respond to most positively is seeing action. That action can be different depending on circumstances, but you do have to be a man of action and not just pretty words if you want to be able to get your ex girlfriend to take you back.

3) No matter what, you need to have a system in place of what you are going to do to win back the woman you love.

I've seen what happens when guys try to just figure things out as they go and when that happens, they usually end up wishing that they had a system in place instead. The fact of the matter is, without a system to win back your ex girlfriend, all you are really going to have is luck. And if that luck runs out or it does not go your way, then you are not going to be back in a relationship with her.
