You may be suffering from pimples and this is why you may be wondering on how they actually get formed. Knowing the process on how pimples form may help you in fighting to get rid of them. So how does a pimple get formed exactly? Well, in order for us to know more about the formation of a pimple we should know first know the factors involved in the formation itself. Basically, our skin consists of tiny pores, thousands or even millions of them; under these pores are glands which are responsible in the production of oil known as sebum which is essential in keeping our skin healthy and hydrated. These glands may actually produce hair. There is no problem if everything is functioning normally; we only have problems when these pores get clogged with dirt and oil. The glands will continuously produce oil even if the pores are already clogged which creates pressure which leads to the formation of a pimple. In other words, the glands known as sebaceous glands are producing oil which may cause pimples if the pores are clogged. This is a phenomenon wherein there is nothing we can do to prevent it from happening but we can regulate the oil production to somehow avoid getting these pimples formed.
There are several ways on how to regulate oil production by the sebaceous glands and this includes change in diet. Of course, you should avoid eating oily foods such as peanuts as much as possible. You may also undergo different stress management programs to help you regulate your glands' production of sebum.
