What is the burning question that you really want to know from successful basketball or volleyball players?

Yep..... it is, "How Do You Jump Higher", because you know that it is all about the vertical.

We all know that the higher you can jump, the higher your paycheck is, and that is what we all want in life, a nice juicy paycheck!

Don't waste your time spending thousands of dollars on shoes. You only need persistence to beat the system and some good old exercises!

If you really want to be like the pros, then add leg lunges to your daily routines. Your options using this exercise is side lunges, lateral lunges or diagonal lunges.

Believe me, if you will just do lunges continually in your routine, you will see a major difference in how to jump higer.

Another exercise you can do is the calf raise.

This one really is easy and you can build up the calf muscle like you won't believe! There are many machines at the gym for this, or if you are lucky enough to have stairs in your home, then use them several times a day.

If you go somewhere to work, and they have stairs instead of the elevator, do that!

Incorporate both these exercises into your workout routine, or even just do them while you are watching television, and you will certainly be able to hang onto the rim in no time.

Remember to do everything you can to avoid any type of injury. Don't make the mistake of doing to much, just to impress your friends or family.

I also suggest combination training. This would be strength and speed training. You will need strength straining squat training combined with walking on the tip of your toes for around 30 minutes.

Make sure to get enough rest and drink lots of water and foods rich in nutrients.
