How Do You Spend The Last Few Days

As the December 21st is coming, Chinese internet users are vigorously talking about "the end of the world"

, many of them are discussing their unfulfilled dreams, and some people even post their epitaph, a wish list or sentence expressing their thoughts about life, I believe everyone have been asked for one common question that how do you spend the last days in the world?

Some people said no matter the prediction of end of the world is real or not, they will stay with their family and friends, they prefer to put down the works, so some tiny things with their families. A netizen said he paid he plans to quit his job and find employment in his hometown so he can spend more time with his 70-year-old father, he said the "apocalypse" prediction had helped him make up his mind.

On the internet, many people are taking positive actions to make their dreams come true; some of them plan to have a week-long holiday in the rest days, a girl on the internet said she plan to go the shopping mall, buy all the shoes and clothes she liked but not buy before, she said "if the earth is going to die, money will be nothing for human, why not use up it?" And she has shown her beautiful bag with decorative tassels, limited-edition leather decorations and other expensive clothes on the Facebook. Some internet user said they don"t want to wait for death but to do something to avoid death just like survivors of Hollywood.

Some companies decide to give two days" vacation to their stuff, they said:" For what it's worth, we hope our staff will feel safe in that day; stay with their family will be the best choice" but most office workers said they never worried about the apocalypse, and if it is real there must be some omen of misfortune, but they have not felt it. Some old people also feel very peaceful about the apocalypse; they said perhaps they have lived long enough to not be as concerned with what happened to their future, they said they will act as usual, clean the house, manipulates the arts and crafts and so on.

It is said that panic buying of candles has swept two countries in Sichuan province; they hope to get through the 3 days darkness rely on candles. There spread news that a man has spent his life saving to build an ark for 20 people in order to survive flooding on the last day, his ark has been called the modern folk Noah's Ark. All this shows that the Mayan prophecy aroused much fear in people. However, some Mayan scholars have disputed the interpretation that the world end is our calendar year 2012 comes from the media. They think that we have misinterpreted the Mayan prediction. The year 2012 should not be the end of the earth. Their theory makes people who hold a grain of salt attitude feel relax and deserve themselves to their lives and works.

In my point of view, a positive attitude is very important in the last day. We should not worry about the last day, because if it is real exist, most of us cannot avoid to death, and the only choice for us is brave to get through it. Maybe, we can hold a big party in that day and have fun with our family and friends. We will not feel fear because we are stay with people we loved. Regrets and worries will waste too much time we should save time for things are worthy of doing. I really glad that the prediction of the end of earth has given us a chance for self-examination.
