How I Made My Mark, Part II

Now on to the good part of How I Made My Mark! To summarize from last week: Create a Professional Brand, Create a Professional Network and thenturn these two assets into a revenue machine.

Once I realized my most powerful asset was my personality and that this personality was attracting business, I needed to show this more powerfully. I needed to show this more powerfully without feeling like I was engaging in self-promotion for self-promotion purposes only. I wanted and needed something more beneficial than to say, "Look, there I am on the internet."I needed this presence to give valuable substance to my customers as well as my business while simultaneously creating a revenue stream.

I started with a basic website about myself and the services and products I was offering to the public. I attached the word press blog and created a link to each of my professional networking and social media sites. I then went to my bank and asked for a merchant account. After going through the process that felt more like I was buying a home I needed to be able to collect payment online. Therefore, I had to connect the dots with a secure online shopping cart.

Ok, now I was set up right? I had a website all about me, I had the ability to collect funds and sell my products; I even had my social media sites and video sites linked. I discovered the hard part was just ahead of me. Getting people to come to my site, and not only people; but, specifically interested buyers.

How to get the type of people you want to your site with the willingness to open up their wallets and purchase your products and or services is the million-dollar question. We have nailed it all down for you!!!! No need to do what I did and take years to get where I am. Take the tried and true, quick, and profitable path to the promised land! An online profile page (Website) dedicated to showing off your most valuable asset, connecting you to your social media sites, your blog, and shopping cart all in one simple to use location. Not asking you to reinvent the wheel, I am simply asking you to point and click. If you can point and click setting this up can be as simple as that.

Once your online personal profile (Website) is live, join several social media platforms and start to be social, look for the groups of people who are similar to you and doing what you want to do or what you are interested in. By being social within these groups your most valuable asset will shine through and you will be able to turn traffic into revenue.
