The name Roppan is not only derived from Roppongi Hills. The second part of the name (which is: Pan) came from a Japanese word (=Pan) and the meaning is "bread". From this name we can easily make a guess that Roppan is about Japanese Bread, served in Roppongi Hills' style.Carry on the concept, Roppan presents its signature menu, i.e: Roppan Japanese Honey Toast.
If you order this special menu, you will be surprised. The bread is a real Japanese thick bread. It is much thicker than the bread that comes with the other toast dishes, with a splash of honey and topped with scoops of ice cream. There are three flavors of ice cream to choose from: vanilla, green tea (matcha in Japanese), and green bean (Ogura). You can even mix two kinds of flavors into your honey toast.
Of course you will be able to find another style of toast which is also recommended but this one is not a honey toast. The name of the dish is Sunny Shinjuku. This kind of food consists of thick cubes of Japanese toast with a slice of cheese and a sunny side up egg.
If you're not a bread lover, just take a look into a white board, next to the cashier. There you will find what is more surprising. Roppan is also serve Japanese Pizza Toast. Among the pizza menu, the one considered as the signature item is Godzilla Burger. This menu, designed for breakfast, is a combination of Japanese pizza toast with cheese, meat and mayonnaise, and a sprinkle of veggies like sliced tomato and cucumber.
But if you crave heavier stuff, maybe you'll love to see the Udon (noodle) menu. The most favourite item on this part is Roppan Udon. This dish mix the udon with bean sprouts, water spinach and chopped chicken. Besides that you can of course select other tempting menus from Udon section.
Last but not least, Roppan tries so hard to fulfill the diverse taste of Indonesian. That's why you can also find rice section in the menu list. Here's available some fried rice menu and rice with chicken or beef. Some of the menu might suit your desire.
