How Krav Maga Will Save Your Life

Krav Maga is one of the most brutal combat systems known in the world

. Krav is a system developed in Israel and is taught to Special Forces worldwide. Krav is known for its specialised wrestling, grappling and striking technique but it is more famous for its brutal counter attacks.

Since the invention of Krav in the 1930's it has been refined for use by both military and civilian personal. This combat system has the philosophy of neutralization, simultaneous defensive and offensive manoeuvres with aggression.

Krav Maga in my opinion is one of the best self defence combat systems in the world simply because it deals with punches, kicks, head butts, elbows, knees, knife and gun attacks, dealing with all of these types of attacks means that you can learn to deal with real world situations. This is something you wouldn't get from another system such as Karate.

In fact the Krav system is so good that many agencies such as Mossad, Shin Bet, FBI, SWAT units of the NYPD and United States Special Operations Forces use it in their everyday life.

If you're looking to study a combat system that will help you against an attacker then I highly recommend Krav as a fighting style for you. Every day life can be tough and some people turn to drugs or muggings to get along, it's a sad part of life especially when you work hard for everything you have got, would you let someone take that from you? By studying this fighting style you're increasing the chance of being able to defend yourself in a tough situation.

The best way to learn Krav is by attending a gym, however if that is too expensive for you then I highly recommend reading some self defence books.
