Responsible physicians will not allow patients to have more frequent injections, even if patients request them. It is recommended that patients stay with the same physician instead of finding another doctor between scheduled appointments who will give additional injections. This will prevent the serious mask-like effects of Botox overuse, while giving the cosmetic effects that are desired.
