How Small Cdma And Gsm Cell Phones Came To Be

In the early days of mobile phones, they started out big and bulky

. GSM Cell Phones and CDMA Cell Phones alike seemed heavy enough to use for weightlifting. As the years passed, manufacturers upgraded these mobile devices so that they would look more stylish and sleek. They also made them lightweight and compact.

Nowadays, there are manufacturers that have designed some of the smallest mobiles phones ever. Both CDMA Cell Phones and GSM Cell Phones, when placed in your hand, are the size of a pack of large size chewing gum. You can actually put several of them in your pants or shirt pocket, if for some reason you needed to.

One of the benefits of having the small GSM Cell Phones is that they don't take up much room in your pockets. Every now and then you may have to check it to make sure it is still there because of its small size.

Another benefit of some of the smaller CDMA Cell Phones is that some of them have large keypads to accommodate those who have large fingers. Some of the keypads are also designed to work for those who have slender fingers.

Some of them have internal chips where you can leave yourself a voice message. You can talk at least five minutes and say what you need to. However, not many people like to leave long messages.

An auxiliary lithium battery is used in some of the smaller phones. This battery can last longer than the regular mobile battery. You should still keep an eye on how much you use it, even with the longer running battery time.

Even though the smaller versions look nice and have great features, there are also some downsides. The smaller versions cannot connect to a Bluetooth device. You will not find a slot for a memory card. Also, some of them are so small that they could not have a keyboard with it.

There are other small devices which do not have a button touchpad for navigation purposes. For other small types, large fingers will not fit the bill on the touch screen. You must always keep up with it because it's so small. It can easily get misplaced or lost if you are not careful.

These small phones may look like novelty items to some people. Rest assured that they are not and that, rather they work just like the regular sized mobile phones, with keyboard and all.
