The doctor will repair and reattach the fallopian tubes which will allow the woman to conceive naturally once again. There is no need for hormone injections either.

Another important point to make about a tubal ligation reversal is that the success rate is much higher at about 70%. Because it is a permanent fix to the problem, a woman can try to get pregnant as often as she wishes.

There are some criteria that a woman must meet in order to be a good candidate for surgery. First of all, the surgeon will need to see her original tubal ligation surgical report in order to know what kind of procedure she had. Also, the length of her remaining tubes is also important to know. Obviously, the doctor will need plenty of tissue to be able to reattach things.
