How The Philippine Hostage Crisis Unfolded Right In My Hand Through My Iphone.

The moment I was holding my new iPhone I knew right there this was an exciting phone

. Seeing its cool applications and features I just loved it. Even if there had been issues of its poor connectivity, its good feature made up for these trivial short comings.

At the same time when I obtained a iPhone insurance cover just before my expiration date ended, I had a good tip from a friend about another very useful and cool application in the iPhone that he has been using already. My thoughts were going, 'not another one' I the last thing I want is to spend more money right after I purchased my iPhone coverage.

There was time period of six months from the time your purchased your iPhone that you have to get an insurance for iPhone or else you wont be able to get it covered any more. I should have gotten it earlier, so I just bought an annual subscription that protects my iPhone in case of damage or loss.

For me that was it for the mean time. I don't want to spend more money for an app no matter how good it is. But then my friend informed me that this application was actually for free but it was really good. And the idea of getting breaking news on my phone was interesting for me.

The app was Fox news that was for free in iTunes and the screen shots looked great, so I got it. But I never really saw that real value of it until Aug.23. It was around 10am here in Chicago when I got a breaking news message from the Fox app that in the Philippines some kind of hostage drama was taking place.

I was about to go to the office and I wasn't hoping for some early morning bad news, I but I just thought that this might be perfect opportunity to see if this app was really worth it.

So I opened my iPhone and looked for this hostage crisis in Manila Philippines and interestingly it has just ended in a horrific and bloody conclusion which was evening in the Philippines at that time. I was in awe as I was there holding this small phone in my hands while I watched the video of what transpired.

The video was clear and the story although not that comprehensive at that time, gave me a glimpse of that tragic even hundreds of miles away.

It was unmistakeably a sad thing to watch early in the morning but it was proof to me that this app was surely a great tool if you want information and getting it was worth it.

The time I obtained my iPhone insurance, my intention was to protect myself financially and that it was a coverage I could really rely on. Seeing what this news app can do, I know that this app can be relied upon as well for updating me with the latest news anywhere I maybe 24/7.
