How To Achieve Larger Chest Muscles
If you're wanting to develop an amazing body, working your chest muscles is quite important
. To gain chest muscle fast, below is a list and explanation of exercises that you can do.
Bench Press
Although the only real equipment you need to do this exercise is a barbell and a bench, you'll need a spotter as well. Repetitions are made easy with spotters because you're ensured safety every step of the way if you're struggling. To perform the bench press, read more below. Also, remember that while you do this exercise, the spotter should only be helping you complete the rep.
1. Keep your feet in the air and lie down on the bench and grab a barbell. Remove the barbell off the rack, using the spotter if you need to.
2. Lightly lower the barbell onto your nipples without allowing the weight to completely press down on your chest.
3. It is really important to focus at this point as you'll be pushing the bar upwards while squeezing your pecs together. You'll want to slowly do this exercise keeping in mind that you're developing your chest and not your shoulders or lower back.
Inclined Bench Press
The same requirements must be met for this exercise: a barbell and a bench. This exercise is done on a bench with an incline, which is the only difference it has to the bench press.
1. Cross your legs when they're in the air but otherwise, proceed as you would for the bench press.
2. As you would proceed if you were performing the bench press, lightly lower the barbell onto your nipples without allowing the weight to completely press down on your chest.
3. It is really important to concentrate at this point as you'll be pushing the bar upwards at a slightly deviated angle while squeezing your pecs together. Remember though, this exercise is in no way supposed to target shoulder or back muscles.
According to some, this exercise doesn't prove to be as efficient as the free weight bench presses, but it is much safer and thus doesn't require a spotter.
Flys
Use a pair of dumbbells to develop your inner pecs by doing flys.
1. With your feet in the air, lie on a bench. Take in a deep breath but don't let your back arch. Let the dumbbells go over your chest with your palms facing each other.
2. Bend your elbows a little and lower the elbows until they're as low as the benchs surface.
You'll then have to squeeze your pecs together. Concentrate on bringing the elbows not hands together and pretend you're hugging a huge barrel. That should do the trick. When the dumbbells are at the top, don't allow contact to be made between them. Don't rest between each exercise either.
