1. Be aware of how you are breathing. When people get nervous, men and women, their breathing changes. Calm yourself down and take deep, controlled breaths if you feel any nervousness -- this will stop that "chain reaction" from occuring, and put you in a relaxed state when you are approaching women.

2. You must also be conscious of your body language -- in particular, you want to walk like an alpha male. So how, exactly, do alpha males walk? With relaxed, upright posture and a smooth stride. Walk too fast and you seem too eager or even a little nervous. Maintain eye contact and smile -- never slump your shoulders or look down at your shoes, because this is the opposite of alpha male behavior. 3. Break the ice with a smile. The most effective way to "set up" your approach is to make eye contact with the girl and exchange a smile with her. If you swap smiles, then you've got a green light to approach her and start the interaction without it feeling weird or awkward. 4. Don't use a "line" to start the conversation; use an opener.
