It's not unusual for even the most seemingly confident men to feel a little case of the "butterflies" when they are about to approach a woman. However, if it is something that holds you back... then that can be a problem.

Here are 4 things that are probably getting in the way of your ability to calmly approach a woman:

1. You think about it TOO much.

If you allow your mind to just go off on tangents and think about all of the possibilities before you even put on foot forward, you are going to get paralyzed. Approach paralysis is probably one of the biggest obstacles that men face when it comes to meet and dating women. The approach is the foundation, and until you build that foundation, you can escalate any further.

2. You have little experience when it comes to approaching women.

For me, this used to be my biggest sticking point. I just did not have a whole lot of experience approaching women that I did not know and getting any words to come out of my mouth. Women that I already knew, I had no problems talking and flirting them up. What helps, is when you just go out and do it. Don't care about the result, just the fact that you got the nerve to approach a woman that you did not know.

3. You don't have something to say to her.

Most guys already know that they need to be able to get some kind of conversation going on, and if they cannot think of anything that they can say, then they just forget about it and move on. Well, you can't let opportunities pass you by, anymore. You have to take the situation and run with it. The more you get yourself comfortable with talking to women, the easier it will be to figure something out to strike up some kind of conversation and then you can escalate things.

4. You have tried and struck out before.

A couple of rejections can make a lot of men become a little "gun shy" when it comes to approaching a woman. Well, the thing is, you probably did not have enough techniques at your disposal to make it go down the way that you wanted it to. This can easily be solved just by discovering the RIGHT techniques to create attraction and make her want YOU.
