, think again. Talent is important, but the most important aspect of your beat making career is a relentless pursuit of your dream that causes you to never quit.

The truth of the matter is that a successful beat maker does not reach his dream by talent alone. A much more important personality trait of someone who gets to the top and is able to live off their beats is relentless desire that makes them never stop trying.

I encourage you to consider the importance of a "never say die" attitude when it comes to pursuing your dream to be a top beat maker in the music industry. You may be extremely talented but that is not enough. Lots of people have talent but they will never make it because they give up too easily when faced with rejection and other obstacles.

If you have only slightly above average skills at making beats, you can live off of your beats if you really want to make it. If you take the time to develop the inner strength that is required to work your way to the top by overcoming all of the obstacles that everyone faces, you will eventually make it and people will know your name.

The problem with most people who "think" they "need a break", is that they don't understand how important it is to persevere. If you were to ask any major beat maker how long it took them to reach their current level of success, you would hear the same thing every time. There were so many times that they wanted to give up. They didn't think anyone appreciated their skill. They were discouraged and on the verge of losing hope many times. But they would not stop.

Desire, when it is focused and unrelenting, will propel you to your goal. Don't ever stop moving toward your dream of making beats that sells, and especially, don't let lack of resources stop you. If you really want to make it in the music recording business...you CAN!

Today's modern technology makes it possible for anyone who is serious about making beats to acquire all of the tools needed to create professional sounding beats they can live off of.

In the early stages of their careers most wannabe beat makers give up after they realize that there are so many obstacles to overcome when trying to get recognition for their talents. They think they need a big break like so and so did or they will never make it.

The reason so and so, got a big break was because of tremendous discipline and hard work. You can get your big break the same way. It's the only way. Talent is cheap and lots of people have it. People that will never be known have it. Talent is important to your beat making career but not as important as a relentless dedication to reaching your dream.
