How To Become A Teacher In Four Days

In the past few years a new style of training course has been born

, which has the potential to turn members of the public into qualified teachers in just four days. There are no barriers to getting onto a course, and no previous qualifications are necessary. The only pre requisite to sign up is that you have prior experience in the subject area that you want to teach. An example of this would be that a potential first aid trainer would at least of gained a first aid qualification to prove they are competent in that field. The aim of the micro lesson is to try and replicate a real life classroom or training course. Each learner has the opportunity to present a lesson on their specialist subject area, which has to last for the full fifteen minutes. It is encouraged to use the theory that has been learnt over the first three days with your own experiences to present an engaging lesson to the rest of the class. Hopefully by the end of each micro lesson each candidate will possess more confidence, and be ready to take their teaching out into the real world.

The main benefit of the training is that is has the power to completely change someone's career. By gaining experience in a subject that you are interested in and then combing this with a ptlls qualification means you can cut loose and start afresh. The doom and gloom mongers out there would say "it's not that easy", "and that the job market is tough at the moment". In reality if you are a strong willed person and are willing to work hard then anything is really possible.

The qualification will also be a great addition to any curriculum vitae, and is looked on favourably by employees. For example potential employees may see you as an asset who could potentially train their staff force if required. It is also shows that you have good organisational skills and possess the confidence to talk in front of others and too a group.

The main beneficiaries of ptlls courses at the moment have to be those in the training industry. People who are fed up of their current career and getting qualified and moving on to be freelance first aid, fire safety and food safety trainers. These are just a few examples as there are many more across the board. The opportunities are endless as with a ptlls qualification you can teach anyone over the age of 16 on a subject that you have experience in. There is nothing to stop you running your own Spanish lessons or being the next music teacher at a college. Even if you just need some extra cash and need to top up your earnings then becoming a teacher could be just right for you.
