* Feet positioning- providing you are right handed then place your left foot aimed right of the frontal pin. Place then your right foot to face the left side of the front pin. Take this position around 4 steps back from the foul line.
* Take it easy and be calm and relaxed. Take a deep breathe a few times and have a positive mindset - you're going to get the strike! You can already see the "X" on your score card.
* Upper body- get your shoulders so they are parallel with the foul line. If you move your waste it means moving your shoulders at the same time, so keep your waste still. Take your time here. It may seem a rigmarole now to get this position right but it will in time come entirely naturally to you.
* Still got your feet in place? Good. Now grab your bowling ball. Turn your hand away from your body just so it feels comfortable and in readiness for the throw.
* Here we go... First step is made with the right foot, taking 4 steps in all. As you move your feet, you are moving the ball back and on the 4th step you should have reached the foul line where the ball will be right at the bottom of the swing, at its heaviest and ready to be launched.
* Now, aiming for the center dot release the ball while keeping your eyes focused on the pins. Keep your eyes focused on the pins! Watch the ball as it moves down towards those pins. The ball should smack the center pin, thus bringing them all down and its a Strike! Congratulations!
