How To Build An Igloo?

Waterproof Gloves

Two rectangular boxed-shape containers without a top or bottom. One must be bigger than the next.

Required Tools:

Snow saw

Snow shovel

Large knife

Directions:

1.Choose an area that has dry, hard-packed snow. Clear the area and draw a circle in the snow ground, making it as round as possible in the ground.

2.Next you need four-sided blocks to begin building the igloo. You can utilize two methods to acquire snow blocks especially if you are working with a colleague. One way to do so is to use the snow shovel to pack snow into the bigger rectangular container and stack it by ramming the snow into it so that it will become a hard block. If the snow is too dry, add a little water to it. As soon as it is entirely stacked, hold the container in the air and tap on the top and shake to free the block. The other choice to obtain blocks is use the snow saw to cut blocks of ice from hard-packed snow.

9.Drip water over the structure to close spaces and harden the blocks to make the building more secure.

Tips:

When constructing an igloo, it is wise to use equal sized blocks as much as possible.

Ensure you wear gloves at all times to shield your hands from the freezing temperatures while you work.

If you need more rooms, simply stack block onto the side of the igloo in the exact way you constructed the original one. Dig entry inside the first igloo to enter the next room.
