The fastest way to build a social media following is give people an unbelievable amount of value and make your content damn good. Dont give them everything because then you wont be able to sell them anything. Just give them enough to say wow this person knows some stuff.
While youre learning how to grow your blog you should choose your core group of social media websites. For example, if you already have tons of Facebook friends this is an obvious start. A good core group to really connect with people is Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, and Linkedin. A good sub core group would be micro blogging sites like Tumblr and Blogger, as well as Stumbleupon, and Digg,
Start by connecting with 2-3 people per day per social media website. Avoid posting affiliate links and just over deliver good content. If your stuff is good theyll hit the buy button.

Many people say frequency works. What does that mean? Its always been said the search engines love fresh new content. Why not make it easy for them to like your stuff? A good rule of thumb for a new or newer blog is to post 1-3 times per day. This brings me into step 4.
Step 4: Getting Guest Authors
If you dont have time to at least post 1 time a day when your blog is new you may want to think about hiring a few guest authors. You can get a good guest author for as low as $5-$10 per blog post.
