This can be done by removing the molding near the floorboard then removing all the boards leading to the damaged one. After removing the damaged one, click a new one into place then back track to replace all the boards leading to the mold. Use a hammer to pound the mold back into place.
Sometimes the boards buckle or peak as a result of increased tension around the walls. Time or weather makes the floor to expand and there is no more room for expansion. To solve this problem you need to minimize tension among the boards. Remove the molding surrounding the laminate and save it for later use. Remove the original spacers and install small ones before gently pressing down on the peak. Then use a hammer to pound back the molding into place.
Some boards can also fade over time especially if they are located in high traffic areas. The faded laminates can be replaced to restore the beauty of the floor. This can be done by purchasing a few replacement boards. It is important to carry one of the good existing boards when purchasing so that you match the color as much as possible.

If this does not work, you could trim the floor with a special saw to make it fit again.
The laminates can also be damaged by water when subjected to prolonged or excessive dampness. Remove the damaged sections using a chisel and hammer. Remove the underlayment or vapor barrier of the damaged material. Ensure that the place is dry before replacing the underlayment. Finally replace the damaged laminates with new matching ones.
