question we hear all the time and something we see people search for a lot isHow do you choose a good color for your house?

Mark McFarlane:

Thats obviously one of the most popular questions, especially since we deal with colors most of the time. Colors are very much a personal thing. I can advise some help as to what goes with what and todays modern trends. These things are especially important when a house is being put up for sale.

Scott Wilson:

So how long have you been in this business?

Mark McFarlane:

Nearly 30 years, Scott.

Scott Wilson:

Wow. So youve got a lot of experience when it comes to knowing these things, especially if youre looking for resell value. You know what color to choose and not to choose to affect the resell value of a house.

Mark McFarlane:

Certainly. There are a lot of colors that have been the top ten colors for the

past twenty years. Theyre very popular colors because they work for so many different houses. To the ordinary person theres so many colors to choose from whether its for the exterior or interior of the house. There are a lot of colors that go with other colors and we can advise you on such things.

Scott Wilson:

You were talking about before that youve got access to a color consultant as well which again is not something ever painter has access to. If you go to a job and people want it, you have the ability to bring the color consultant to them?

Mark McFarlane:

Certainly. Depending on the person, theres a bit more to the job sometimes where they want to incorporate maybe the drapes or carpets into part of the color. Thats a bit beyond my expertise but we have an in-house consultant thats part of our team.

Scott Wilson:
