How To Configure Smtp Service Onto Your Computer System
In today's fast paced life, no one has so much time to devote on writing long letters

With the help of this technology, communication using electronic mails have been facilitated that is not only convenient, but an instant way of interacting with your loved ones. It is only with the help of SMTP service that a person can easily communicate with another user with the help of electronic mails, which is the most significant function of the internet. The server of both the computers used by the sender and recipient act as the link to connect both of them together and make the incoming of the messages hurdle free. In the process, once the mail is sent, the SMTP server of the sender checks the Domain Name Registration of the other server and as soon as it gets a confirmation, it informs the other server about the message that is waiting to be received. Once the message is received, with the help of SMTP service, a mail is triggered to the sender confirming the successful delivery of his message.
To avail proper SMTP service, configuring SMTP is essential. The steps to be followed for doing so have been mentioned as under:
Click the 'Start' button on the Windows desktop and go to 'Settings.' Within the settings option, choose 'Control Panel'.
Go to 'Administrative Tools' and double click it. To open the console for SMTP configuration, double-click the 'Internet Information Services (IIS)' icon.
Look at the icon of 'Default SMTP Virtual Server' present on the left side of the console panel. Right click it and select 'Properties' from the available options.
Press the 'General' tab and choose 'All Unassigned' option over there. Selecting this alternative will make each and every SMTP packet to route through this server. Then, click 'OK' to set the selected SMTP service properties.
After the general tab, go to 'Access' tab. Choosing these SMTP service settings over here will restrict relaying by the computer systems which are unauthorized, preventing any threat that could lead your system to crash.
In the same window, you will find a 'Relay Restrictions' section, where you need to click the 'Relay' button.
Now choose the option 'Only the List Below' and then click 'Add'. As soon as you finish adding your local user groups for the internal domain, click 'OK'
Press 'OK' for the general properties window, closing the IIS console.

SMTP service and communicate with your near and dear ones and even with your collegues within a professional environment. To surpass the restrictions posed by IIS, however, configuring
SMTP relay server will surely be a great help.
