How To Create Your Own E-liquid

One way to save money to enjoy the flavor, volume

, strength and vapour that you desire in your electronic cigarettes is to create your own E-Liquid. Regular E-Liquid solutions can be bought in many stores online. Since they have nicotine content, they cannot be purchased elsewhere or manufactured at home.

The range of strengths can be between 10mg/ml and 30mg/ml. Or you can shorten this to 10ml or 30 ml. A small-size E-Liquid, the 10ml, can last up to three days. It costs abut $15. The more cost-saving way is to buy in larger quantities.

But be careful in buying large quantity of flavored liquid unless you have tried the brand before. You can also add flavors that are non-tobacco. It is always important that you decide on what flavor you want for your electronic cigarettes.

Smokers, or vapors, start to, cut their E-Liquid after a few weeks of use. So if you vape 15mg, you buy 30mg and proceed to dilute this in one-to-one ratio with VG, or vegetable glycerine. You can save money this way too. And you will enjoy the thickness that is added to the E-Liquid by VG, all the more making your experience with electronic cigarettes more pleasurable.

The Glycerine you use in your E-Liquid must be Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and must be pharmacy or food grade. Its more specific and scientific name is Glycerol. VG can be found mostly in pharmacies and supermarkets. Propylene Glycol, a common base in E-Liquid, causes allergic reactions to some people, although these are only mild, like itchiness. VG and PG are considered sugar-alcohols. Your electronic cigarettes will taste sweet.

The following is a typical recipe for a 9 to 10ml of E Juice for your electronic cigarettes.

Nicotine juice (flavored or unflavored) 4ml

Vegetable Glycerin (About 80 drops) 4ml

LorAnns flavoring (or other concentrated flavoring) about 10 to 15 drops

Mix the ingredients well. Avoid shaking, unless theres air that is of small amount in the container. Start with 5 to 10 drops of flavoring, then add more as you progress. If you get a strong flavor, you may add more nicotine liquid and vegetable glycerine in a one-to-one ratio.

You can also add four drops of vodka or distilled water. This works if you have thick, viscous juice. Ideally, the E-Liquid must be a little thicker compared to water. A juice thats too thick is slow to wick. But avoid thin juice, too, because theres a higher chance of leakage. And too much water diminishes the quality of the water vapor
