The best place I know of is to explore - with a keyword research tool - the Google Adwords campaigns of the competition.
Rather than trying to re-invent the wheel - I snoop around and see what's ALREADY working for my competitors.
And what's NOT working too.
I dig into their Google pay-per-click campaigns to find out what keywords they're using. I also discover how much they're paying AND how effective the ads are (where they place in Google).
PLUS I can look at the actual copy - the wording and click-through URLs" of all the ads.
Now I can "model" my campaigns ONLY after the winning promotions of my competition.
How's THAT for getting your competitors to pay for your market education?
There are lots of Pay-Per-Click Research tools available. Some of them are really good. Problem is most of them charge a monthly fee (after the trial periods) - sometimes up to around a hundred bucks PER MONTH.
Well I wasn't willing to pay that much for a tool I use only a few times a month.
So instead I searched around for a free tool - And I found a really great one too.
Here's the link to the free Pay-Per-Click tool I found.
