Vaginosis is a medical problem that occurs due to an increase in the amount of bacteria in the vagina in females

. This kind of condition occurs mainly because of the harmful bacteria that are over growing in your vagina. In this situation, the discharges that happen in the female abruptly become abnormal and this is what the earliest sign of the condition is. Ideally, this is not a sexually transmitted disease, but historically people with various lovers are more prone to this.

While the specific cause for this condition is not known, it is theorized to occur because of an imbalance in the amounts of the different types of bacteria found in the vagina. Both of these solutions in effect use the antibiotic Metronidizole. There are also other sets of antibiotics which also can be used to treat BV with less uncomfortable side effects.

Once bacterial vaginosis is healed, a check-up should be done. This is simply because this condition has a trend to reoccur from time to time, and in these instances, it should be handled once again correctly.
