As compared to home designing, office designing is much more difficult. In an office design each and every thing much be in limits neither even a pinch extra. When we start decorating our office, one thing should always remain in our mind; every accessory we used must go with the atmosphere of office. We never use such decorative things which spoil the feel of an office.

We have lots of choices when we start decorating any office, but its upon skill of any designer how he use available options. In decoration of any office, there is one thing which we should never ignore and i.e. office picture. Pictures not only enhance beauty of an office but it adds meaning to it.

Choosing picture to decorate your office has lots of advantages such as with right kind of pictures we can get the desired mood for an office. For that it is very important that we choose right kind of picture. While choosing a picture for an office we must keep following points in our mind:-

Size of picture

It is very important to decide size of the picture for our office. It should be according to size of wall. On a wider we can use a wide rectangular picture or two or three medium size square pictures. We should avoid covering complete wall with pictures as it will create a congested view over a viewer. We can also use a number of medium size pictures along the walls of corridors, it creates an interesting perception when a person walk through a corridor.

Location of the picture

Deciding right position to the right picture is very important. Because a picture is not at its right position, it can lose its meaning. For example a picture having depth in it, must be hang at the wall in reception. Because when people sit and wait, they can spend time in understanding meaning of the picture. Similarly in cafeteria we can use happy and lively pictures to refresh mood of people come over there.

Meaning of Picture

The main difference between choosing a picture for a home and an office is the right meaning of a office pictures. In case of decorating a home we can easily go for any picture which can suits our taste and home design but in case of an office it is very essential that appropriate meaning must be come out from a picture. Pictures showing importance team work, hard work, discipline leadership, consider really good in working area.

We can also go with pictures of legends with their quotes written in lower portion of the picture; it not only looks good but also motivates employees.

Beside these factors we should also be careful in selecting frame for the picture. The frame for an office should be according to the picture and wall colour. It should compliment both. The shades of the frame should not be too bright.
