Having discovered that it was possible to download games to my DSi

, I wanted to make sure that I could do this safely and know that if I got into technical difficulties there would be back up support available.

I am not a particularly technically minded person. I find it frustrating if I have bought a product on the internet that I have a problem with and my questions seem to get lost in cyber space and never get a response from the supplier, with the result that I ask for a refund. I opted for the $39 lifetime membership option. The way I saw it was, that for a difference of $10 I would be getting far more out of my console over a longer period of time. There were no tie-ins, thank goodness, no subscription fees just the one-off payment giving access to the site from where I could download the games and it is kept updated with all the new releases.

If there is going to be a technical hitch it is usually occurs at the start of doing something new such as downloading new software, games or music and so it is great to know that there is the support available 24/7.

So I now get far greater use of my console and download games to my DSi safely and securely, and as many games as I want, when I want, and all for a price that is less than a single game if I bought it in a shop.
