How to Exercise

We should all get at least thirty minutes of exercise per day. Never exercise after you eat or have a big drink of water. Wait at least fifteen minutes. Before you exercise it is essential to warm up by doing some simple stretches. Touch your toes, stretch your arms, just do any stretches that suite you. After you have warmed up, start off with jogging on the spot. Do jumping jacks, lunges, hula hoops, skipping, running or whatever makes you feel tired. If you get tired from any of the exercise activities, do some stretches. Make sure that while you are doing your exercises you breathe properly. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Breathe slowly and deeply. After you have finished your exercising make sure you cool down. Do some simple stretches just like your warm-up. Do this exercise routine for thirty minutes to one hour and try doing it everyday.

How to Eat

Eating is a very important activity in having a healthy lifestyle. You should only have three meals in one day, Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. It is good to start the day with one glass of water before eating anything. This cleanses your insides and refreshes you. When you eat you should eat until you feel like you are nearly full. Because if you eat until you are full or bloated, it will expand your stomach and you will have to eat more than you used to, to get full. Make sure you eat everything you need in your diet. Just go by the food pyramid. Snacks are OK, but make sure you don't have too many.

How to Think Positive

Having a positive mind will make you mentally healthy. Wake up in the morning and smile at your mirror. This makes you happy and starts the day positively. If something goes wrong, think in your mind that, everything is OK, we can get through this. Talking to positive people also makes you think positive. Laughing every now and again keeps you happy. Try to avoid negative people. They will only put you down. Stress can bring everybody down. Solving problems one at a time helps reduce stress. Relax every now and again to soothe your mind. Try yoga and relaxation CDs. If you feel like none of these basic things are helping, try seeing a psychiatrist.

How to Look After Your Health

Going to the doctors for a check up every 6 months is good to keep track of your health. You should see a dentist once a year. Weigh yourself every month to check your body weight. Checking your pulse is a good way of keeping track on your stamina and your heart rate. Everybody needs rest. If you don't rest you will be unhealthy and unhappy. If you feel tired, look after yourself and take a rest. Get enough sleep at night so you have enough energy for the next day.
