1) Amazon

Choose any category on Amazon and take a look at the list of bestselling products in that specific category. Make a list of products that look interesting, either because of a simple product name or the large price tag. There is no exact science behind this, so you will have to trust your instincts on this one.

2) Google Keyword Tool

Go to the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and enter the product names, one by one, into the keywords box. We want to accomplish two things by doing this: the first is to see how many monthly searches the product name has and the second is to see what are the highest searched related keywords. Use Google search, Yahoo SiteExplorer and SEO For Firefox to analyze the competition on the first ten spots in Google. You are trying to determine how many people are ranking for the keywords you wish to pursue and of what strength are those pages.
