They're often desperate for business and the longer you've been with them, the more effort they'll put into keeping you. This simple tactic alone can save you hundreds of Euros over the length of a contract.

If you're the sort of person who travels a lot outside of your country or the EU or if you need a lot of data as you use the Internet a lot - look for deals on this too. Providers will offer you lower costing bundles, or if they want to keep you will throw them in for free. Fight for these little extras, as they can make your phone a lot cheaper if you've specific requirements.
