Panic attacks are a natural response to the world around us. The world can be a hectic and scary place to live in and our bodies just naturally go into panic attack mode to protect us. It is our subconscious that believes we are in threatening situations and goes into fight or flight mode. The trick is how to stop this from happening.

When your body feels threatened, your body will go into panic attack mode which will trigger a chemical reaction in your brain. This is what the fight or flight mode is. Certain chemicals are released into your brain and for most, this is what is called a panic attack. Your brain really believes that you are in a life or death situation.

When your body goes into panic mode, the right thing to do is to try and gain control over your subconscious so that you can stop it from happening further. This will end the response to the situation. If you can do this before the attack really begins then you have a way to cure your panic attack.


Prevention mode is always the best mode to be in. Relaxation and hobbies are always the best cure for any anxiety issue. If you find things that you like to do that will calm you down then your body will be more used to relaxing. This is the best prevention.

If your panic attacks seem to be getting worse and not better, even after trying these methods then you may need to see your doctor. You may need a referral or medications to help you get better.

If you suffer from panic attacks then you know how hard it is to deal with. It is hard to live your daily life productively when you do not know when the next attack is coming. Find some calming hobbies to participate in and eat right. Take care of yourself. Be sure that you do something and cure panic attacks before they begin. Prevention is always key.
