You can place a link to your site in the signature of your posts, which is a block of text or pictures that automatically show up under whatever you write. However, do not spam just so people will see your link as much as possible. Try to make interesting, useful comments so that you will not rub anyone the wrong way.

2. Update your website on a regular basis. If it is not clear about when your site was last altered in some way, nobody is going to believe that your site is reliable. If the website is for an online business, this can be a dangerous error. Be sure that the date of the last update is visible, and not hidden in a corner somewhere.

3. Similar to posting on forums, you can also spread the word about your website by going to blogs and leaving comments on any entries they might put up. When you are filling in the form for your comment, there is usually an option to put in a link for a website. This should definitely be exploited. If the blogger is popular, the odds of more people becoming exposed to your comment are high. Again, do not spam under any circumstances.
