1. Ask yourself what kind of woman you're more likely to attract.

You probably know this already, but it's surprising how often guys ignore it. Don't go after women that you know probably won't feel attracted to you. Simple, really.

Don't expect to hit it off with a stunning blonde with a high-paying job in the City or on Wall Street if you're a low-paid average-looking quiet kind of guy living somewhere in the country.

See what there is to choose from and look at things from their point of view. If you were one of the women you come into contact with from time to time, would you find yourself a desirable catch?

2. Mould yourself into someone who your kind of woman would easily find attractive.

Open doors for her, lift her chair when she gets up from the table, and do all the things other men too often fail to do.
