Nobody wants to experience loss of any kind. However, losing a woman that you love is one of the greatest pains that can befall a man. To give your love to a woman is not always easy, and when you give that love to her and then it gets snuffed out, well that can be horrible to have to go through. What if even after all of that you still love her? What if even after all of that you still feel as if she is the one?

Just because you 'lost' her, does not mean that she is gone for good. If you have broken up with a woman you love, then it is a noble idea to try and win her back. Be prepared to have to face some hard challenges though. I wish I could say that every situation could be solved easily, but that is not the truth. And there is also the fact that there are some relationships that no amount of effort will be enough to salvage. That is another thing that you need to be prepared for.

1) Remind yourself that a break up can really just be a temporary loss.

When you think of losing your girlfriend as being more than temporary, as being permanent, it has a much different effect on you than if you think of it as just being temporary. And that is the kind of mindset that you need to have. No need to get dramatic and act as if she is gone forever. As long as she is still out there and she has not gotten married or anything like that, then you still have a chance of getting her back.

2) Take time to properly deal with the rejection that you probably feel right now.

This is one of the hardest parts of the break up that you have to deal with. The feeling that you gave her your love and she ended up rejecting you. That can be a tough pill to swallow, so take some time if you need to in order to handle this feeling of being rejected. You don't want to allow it to fester and then come back to haunt you at the wrong time, so take care of it now.

3) Use proven techniques to win her back, don't try and find some hidden secret.

It's tempting to get swayed by the idea that maybe there is some kind of secret psychological trick that you can use to force your ex girlfriend to come back to you. As tempting as it may be to think like that, you are much better off relying on proven techniques that are already known to actually work.
