Your website is one of these two-
On page optimization
This is using a blog platform that already has credibility, like Empower Network, or a number of other popular blog sites. If your using a well known platform, then you wont have to establish as much credibility or go do much back-linking. It will always help if you recommend your blog from other webpages, for example, facebook posting your link. Also, if you are using wordpress, you can link other sites that are related to your topic to your page, and then they will be connected if you are both using wordpress, as an internal link. I recommend this regardless of On page or off page optimization. then other users can just scroll down their page and see that you linked them, and check out your link as well.
Off page optimization
You will need hundreds of pages back-linking your site, at least, to show up on the top 10 in the major search engines! If you outsource your back-linking with tools, or hire someone to do it, you can get good results.
Otherwise youll have to post your content all over the web, pointing back to your major site, using different sites. The way google views content, you should be spinning your sentences and paragraphs because too much of the same thing all over looks suspicious and like spam or virus content. You really will be spending a lot of time doing this, but its not a bad way, if you dont mind constantly changing the way you say the same thing.
Target one Keyword per article.
You need to keep your topic related to one keyword, because it will funnel in the people who search for that one key phrase. Make sure all your key words are relevant some way, preferably in a direct way, to your articles.
Target keywords that people are looking for
look for common questions that you can help answer, like how to get more blog traffic otherwise you could have an awesome blog, and no one visiting it.
Example, if you typed in new year resolution to make $30,000, how to make $30,000 in 90 days and ultimate new years resolution these are all different, yet related.
Use googles keyword tool
Just google keyword tool and it will pop up, then make a search of different key words and it will tell you how often they are searched.
Be a Resource
Share your input on topics, and give demonstrations of how something works, and make How Tos articles. better yet, make a video about something your interested in like, how to get more traffic, and put your keyword in youtube.
Make quality Content
How many websites do you remember that you planned on forgetting because they werent helpful.
None.
If you are not informative and helpful, no one is going to want to revisit, or bookmark or link your page.
Youtube
Make videos! Vlog about your blog, and use the appropriate keywords on your video, and put a link to your blog in the comment box and you can easily get a top 5 position on google search pages, though this way you may not stay there for long, so youll need to be consistently keeping a video log of your blogs, which doesnt take any real extra time.
Make a list of your relevant key words separated by a , on a word document and you can copy and paste them into the proper area.
