The CISSP certification is offered to the candidates who clear CISSP exam

. Valid for only three years, candidates are required to re-certify themselves every three years. Thus, in order to remain a certified CISSP professional candidates have to appear for exam and clear it. A solution available for candidates who do not wish to re-sit in CISSP exam is that they attend 120 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits program.

The CPE program is conducted by the organization itself to updates its members wherein they can earn 120 CPEs. CISSP asks every member to pay annual fee of US$85 during each year of the three-year certification cycle before the annual anniversary date.
